Safety Guidelines

LPG is stored within the cylinder as a liquid under pressure.
Vapour is drawn off from the top of the cylinder via the outlet valve.
The vapour is highly flammable and is heavier than air, so does not disperse easily.

- the cylinders must be used and stored in an upright position
- the cylinders should be stored in a well ventilated area, away from direct sources of heat and flames
- the cylinders should be stored above ground level and away from drains
- the cylinders should be stored outdoors away from flammable and corrosive materials

Should LPG come in to contact with eyes or skin or is inhaled please seek immediate medical attention.

Handle your cylinder with care, paying particular attention not to damage the valves.

Make regular checks of hoses and appliances to ensure they are in good condition and that there are no leaks.
